Both group and individual counseling are available. Victims often report that talking to a counselor was the first time they were able to tell their story and be listened to without judgment or blame.
All counseling clients can also be assisted with personal protection orders, housing resources, access to a career center, and referrals for health and financial assistance. Counselors also work with supportive friends and family members who are dealing with their own feelings around the abuse of someone they love.
This group is specifically for teenage women who have suffered trauma from dating violence, sexual assault or child abuse.
